The aim of this initiative is to train trainers in civil action, peaceful work strategies and knowledge management in the Arab region, so as to enhance the skills of Arab young civil society leaders and activists in the use of civil action techniques, and thus facilitate transition toward societies that are more respectful of human rights and democratic principles.

To that end, it was necessary to provide knowledge of the relevant basic notions, by translating the reference on "peaceful civil action", offering continuous access to information via the Kawakibi website, organizing a training-of-trainers workshop on civil action and peaceful work strategies for young Arab activists, and establishing a "practice group" on the Kawakibi website in order to ensure the durability of activities related to peaceful civil action.

Al Kawakibi Center implements this project in partnership with the American Freedom House organization, the Arab Institute for Human Rights, the Moroccan Human Rights Organization, the United Nations Democracy Fund, and "No Peace Without Justice".
